Culture Syndicates are evaluating City Arts’ multi-year Celebrating Age project. The project, funded by Arts Council England and The Baring Foundation, aims to engage older people across Nottingham in the arts. The project consists of two strands, Words of Wisdom and Classical Fusion, both of which Culture Syndicates are evaluating.
Our role in the project is to provide a thorough evaluation of the project with the aim of sharing success stories and learning from the work completed. To do so, we have created a robust evaluation framework which meets the needs of all stakeholders. The evaluation methods are sensitive to the varied needs of the project’s elderly participants, meet the needs of the national funders, and will capture the views of all stakeholders involved. We are working with the Most Significant Change methodology to collect compelling case studies which will capture the spirit of the project. Alongside this, we will collect quantitative data to evidence the reach of the project.
Our final report will bring together the data collected in a visual, accessible way in order to share the learning and outcomes of the project to a wide audience.
