Culture Syndicates secured £149,189 funding from Arts Council England for this innovative project. To ensure a successful bid, we facilitated creative discussions with partners, identified and managed risks and liaised with Arts Council England to create a detailed project plan and application that matched funder’s criteria and partners’ needs.
This project, in partnership with six museums across the East Midlands, created six internship opportunities for graduates. Culture Syndicates managed this 18 month project, providing specialist guidance and training to empower the interns to identify and develop solutions to issues shared by the partners for engaging audiences and improving interpretation.
Each of the interns secured fantastic jobs within the heritage sector by the end of their employment, greatly contributing to workforce development within the region and further afield. New employers include the Imperial War Museum, D.H. Lawrence Birthplace Museum, the RAF Museum and Beamish Museum.
