Culture Syndicates were commissioned to complete the evaluation for the St Peters Church City Stories project, whereby, alongside capital works, the church intended to engage local people from challenging backgrounds with the church in a number of ways. This includes young people from schools with the highest rate of free school meals, with local homeless people and with individuals who have experience of mental health issues. The project will also work with congregation members to develop oral histories, as well as building on the interpretation of the church itself. In collaboration with the project team, Culture Syndicates have created an evaluation framework to eb worked with throughout the project, as well as key evaluation materials. The Culture Syndicates team will work together with the project staff to produce interim and final reports for the National Lottery Heritage Fund, encouraging as many people as possible to engage with the evaluation of the project.
