about the project

Our maps exhibition will allow your organisation to engage visitors with the history of cartography. The three panel exhibition covers the history of map making and how maps have been used throughout time, from the Babylonians to today.

The exhibition allows the audience to form their own opinions through the interesting questions posed. These questions about the changes and ultimate importance of maps in different cultures allow the viewers to draw their own conclusions and engage more closely with the content presented.

The panels are family friendly and will spark interest from a younger generation who are invited to engage closely with the world of map making. The experienced cartographer can also enjoy the exhibition, which offers a chance for you to display your own collection of maps to an interested audience. The exhibition would be the perfect accompaniment to any local, national, or global maps in your collection. It can also work as stand alone interpretation on cartographic history.

Make the most of International Map Week in October using our panels!
